Build a payment plan around the project—not the panic.
Storm damage, an aging roof and a long repair list rarely arrive at a convenient time. Start with a clear scope, then compare the payment paths that may fit your household or property.
SOS Construction & Roofing is a contractor, not a lender. Approval, rates, terms, fees and payment schedules are determined by the applicable financing provider.
START WITH A CLEAR NUMBERPlan the payment. Then choose the path.
WHY THIS PAGE EXISTS
A monthly payment is only one part of the decision.
When a roof leaks or a property needs major work, it is easy to focus on getting the lowest immediate payment. A better decision considers the complete cost, the risk, the project timing and whether the payment plan matches your household or business cash flow.
Ask questions, read the final documents and make sure the project scope and financing agreement are both clear. You have the right to understand what you are approving before work is scheduled.
PAYMENT ESTIMATOR
See an example monthly payment before you choose a path.
Move the sliders to explore how the amount, timeframe and APR change the math. The default assumptions are intentionally different by financing type so you can see why a secured equity option may estimate lower than a high-interest credit card.
HELP IS ON THE WAY
FROM SCOPE TO SOLUTION
When the work is clear, the payment conversation gets easier.
SOS helps you start with the condition of the property and a written project scope. That gives you a better question to take to a lender, card issuer or funding provider—and a clearer way to compare the total cost.
Not every path fits every situation. Your sales professional can discuss the project scope and available payment conversations, while each provider controls its own approval and terms.
01
Insurance proceeds
When a storm or other covered event causes damage, your first step is to contact your insurer and understand your policy. SOS can provide factual construction documentation and a good-faith estimate, but we do not interpret coverage, adjust claims, waive deductibles or guarantee payment.
02
Cash or a planned payment
Some owners use savings, a cash reserve, a check, a credit card or a staged payment plan. Ask for the written scope, deposit requirements, schedule and what happens if concealed conditions are found.
03
Home equity or bank financing
A bank or credit union may offer a home-equity line, home-improvement loan or another secured option. These products can have different rates, fees, terms and risks, including possible security interests in the property.
04
Personal credit or installment financing
A personal loan, promotional card or other credit product may be available based on your personal financial profile. Compare the annual percentage rate, total repayment, term, origination fees, late fees and prepayment terms—not only the monthly payment.
OPTIONAL FUNDING PARTNER
See whether you may pre-qualify through Seven Figures Funding.
Seven Figures Funding provides access to a marketplace of lenders and card issuers. Its application asks for personal information so the marketplace can match your profile with possible options. The pre-qualification process is described as a soft credit inquiry, intended to avoid an initial impact to your credit score.
Use the application only if you are comfortable reviewing its privacy and credit authorizations.
Pre-qualification is not final approval or a promise of funding.
Seven Figures Funding is not a direct lender and does not make credit decisions.
Rates, terms, fees, products, permitted use and availability vary by provider and applicant.
Read the provider’s current disclosures before accepting an offer.
THE SOS PAYMENT CONVERSATION
Know what happens before the project is scheduled.
Financing does not replace a clear construction plan. SOS starts with the condition and scope, then helps you understand what needs to happen next.

READ BEFORE YOU SIGN
Questions worth asking about any financing offer.
What is the total amount I will repay?
Ask for the APR, finance charge, total of payments, term, payment schedule and every fee. A lower monthly payment can still cost more when the term is longer.
When does the promotional period end?
For a promotional or introductory rate, confirm the exact expiration date, the rate after the promotion, whether interest can accrue or be deferred, and what happens if a payment is late.
Is the financing secured by my home?
Ask whether the product is secured, whether there is a lien or other collateral requirement, and what the consequences are if you cannot repay.
What happens if the project changes?
Understand how approved change orders, concealed decking or structural conditions, material substitutions, permits and delays affect the project balance and payment schedule.
Who is making the credit decision?
A contractor can explain the construction scope. The lender or financing provider—not SOS—decides eligibility, rates, terms and approval.
Does financing change my warranty?
No. Financing and warranty documents are separate. The applicable manufacturer warranty, SOS workmanship warranty and Coastal Shield maintenance requirements control independently.
KEEP THE CATEGORIES SEPARATE
Financing, insurance and warranties do different jobs.
Financing is a payment arrangement with a lender, card issuer or funding provider. It does not decide whether a roof should be repaired, replaced or maintained.
Insurance may respond to covered losses under your policy. Contact your insurer with coverage questions. SOS can provide construction documentation and a good-faith estimate, but we are not a public adjuster and do not interpret policies, determine coverage or negotiate settlements.
Coastal Shield protection is the SOS roof-system, workmanship and maintenance documentation program described in the applicable written documents. Financing does not create, extend or replace manufacturer coverage, SOS workmanship coverage or maintenance-plan eligibility.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Clear answers before you choose a payment path.
Can I finance an emergency roof repair after a major storm?+
Possibly. The available path depends on the project scope, your personal circumstances, the financing provider and whether insurance proceeds may apply. Call SOS for stabilization and documentation, then compare the payment paths available to you.
Can I apply through Seven Figures Funding for a roof or construction project?+
You can use the Seven Figures Funding application link to see whether you may pre-qualify for personal funding options. Seven Figures Funding states that its pre-qualification process uses a soft credit inquiry, but it is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. Final approval, products, rates, terms and permitted use of proceeds are determined by the applicable provider.
Will checking my options affect my credit score?+
Seven Figures Funding describes its pre-qualification inquiry as a soft inquiry for matching purposes. Read the provider’s current authorization and disclosures carefully. A lender may use additional underwriting or a hard inquiry before final approval.
Does SOS guarantee that I will qualify?+
No. SOS cannot guarantee approval, a rate, a payment, a loan amount or a particular financing product. Those decisions belong to the lender, card issuer or funding provider.
Can I use insurance and financing together?+
Sometimes, but the details matter. Ask your insurer how deductibles, approved amounts, depreciation, supplements and payment timing work, and ask the financing provider how insurance proceeds affect the balance. SOS does not interpret your policy or negotiate the claim.
Do I have to use Seven Figures Funding?+
No. It is one optional funding path. You may also discuss cash, bank or credit-union products, home-equity options, cards, personal credit, insurance proceeds or other payment arrangements with the sales professional handling your project.

SOS Construction & Roofing is not a lender, broker, credit counselor, public adjuster or attorney. We do not guarantee financing approval, credit qualification, interest rates, loan amounts, terms, payment amounts, insurance coverage or project results. Seven Figures Funding is an optional third-party funding marketplace and is not a direct lender; its current application, consent, privacy, terms and provider disclosures control. A soft pre-qualification inquiry does not guarantee that a later lender inquiry or underwriting process will not affect credit.
